About The Monkey Box
Hilarious, rude, clever, crude, groundbreaking, mean, nasty, fun, silly, and oh, really funny -- The Monkey Box is comedy that's better than soup. Even really good soup.
HISTORY
The Monkey Box was formed in early 2006 as an audio podcast. As one of the few professional-quality podcasts at the time, TMB quickly rose to the top of the Comedy charts with our own brand of audio sketch comedy that harkened back to the golden days of radio - if everyone was on crack back in the golden days of radio.
But it was only a matter of time before video beckoned, and since The Monkey Box is mostly filled with Hollywood attention whores, it was really an inevitability. In January 2007, we released our first video "Janitors." It quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of views and was a finalist in the 2007 MySpace MyEmmy competition.
Since then we've released a video every two weeks and haven't looked back. Our videos have been seen by millions of people across the interwebs. In 2008, we secured our partnership with YouTube, and then dramatically expanded our website to meet the demand for more content and our particular brand of stupidity.
CAST

JOHN T. MICKEVICH is a prolific screenwriter, prodigious musician, occasional actor, and one-time astronaut. In addition to his duties as the Monkey Box's head writer, producer and webmaster (a task much akin to herding epileptic squirrels in a strobe light factory), he also composes and performs all of TMB's original music. He has no life.

CAROLINE GORDON-ELLIOTT is wicked cool. She's written and directed a couple of plays in Hollywood, and everyone thought they were wicked awesome. Raised in the NYC, no one knows why she says "wicked". Maybe she's trying to pretend she's something she's not. Maybe she's not who you think she is.

BOB LEVITAN Bob Levitan is a narcissistic neurotic with a penchant for protein and a heart of happiness. But Bob's true notoriety comes from his studies with the Chacoan Peccary of western Paraguay and northwestern Argentina. If Bob had it his way, the Monkey Box would become the Chacoan Peccary Box... for obvious reasons. You can also see Bob on the Bob and Byrne Show at www.bobandbyrne.com or at his own website www.323actor.com

BRANDON EPLAND is the alter ego of Creepy (Yet Insistent) Frank, the Red-Bull drinking Janitor, and the Tiger Bread Guy. When he's not writing or acting for The Monkey Box Brandon can be found being creepy while hopped up on Red Bull and Tiger Bread.

JOHN WILLIAMS shares a name with a famous composer, but don't let that fool you. He has no musical ability whatsoever. He is, however, the only male member of TMB to dress in drag on more than one occasion (on camera, anyway). He can often be found trolling the bus stations of Hollywood looking for young actresses to teach the ways of the city.

BRIAN CHASE is the Monkey Box's resident hearthrob. And by that we mean he has to take medication for his cardiac arrythmia. You may occasionally see Brian on your TV selling you beer or jewelry. And if that's not panning out, you may seem him doing the same outside Grauman's Chinese Theater.

JILLIAN GRIFFITHS is rumored to have been raised by wolves - but they were sexy, sexy wolves. She now stands tall as a member of the prestigious Monkey Box. Whenever we need someone to fake an orgasm, Jillian's our go-to gal. We we need someone to have a real one, Jillian's ready to lend a hand.

JESSICA McCABE is the youngest member of the Monkey Box. So we make her get coffee and do our dry cleaning. She's also in a LOT of theatrical plays in the Los Angeles at any given moment. She's also been voted "Internet's Hottest Fake Elf" by young perverts everyone who watched 1-900-NERD GIRL
